No idea where the title came from

Weeeeeee This baby is what I have been working on for about the past month!! Its taken me forever but I can finally say that I love how this has turned out!

Here we have my birthday giftie for mah darling ~Moon-Ottsel Who turned 13 today! *dances* I know she wanted her wonderful Griffin character Maloru for her contest prize, so i went ahead and put in lots of work so I could give it to her in time for the birthday! ^__^

So yes, this is Maloru the griffin Sun bathing and posing in all his splendour! ^_^ The rainbow feathers certainly took a long time to do, and I used watercolours for the first time in eons... gosh I need to get back into practise.

I'd also like to point out that in real life the bottom right hand corner is not that white O_o I think the scan went funny.. Squeeeeeeeeee.. Stonehenge! *points*

Crit is welcome, but.. I did work real hard on this so don't be too mean, Its my first time properly drawing a griffin
